Muro's Heavy Duty Driver is tough, efficient, speedy and durable. Perfect for toughest jobs securing wood to metal. This tool drives #12 to 1/4" diameter self taping screws. This high performance and durable tool offers tremendous labor savings on every job. Combines two jobs into one - no pre-drilling of pilot holes required, a simple one step operation. Complete package: includes telescoping extension handle. Two-speed motor adjusts to a variety of metal thickness in order not to overheat and break the self-drilling screw tip. Lower gear is close to 80% of High gear, which results in higher torque with less RPM. HDVL71 is available with 3 different transmission options: 100% operates around 2300 RPM high / 1840 RPM low; use up to 1/8" to 3/6" maximum mild steel . 83% reduction gear operates around 1900 RPM high / 1520 RPM low; great for 3/16", 1/4" steel thickness. 58% reduction gear operates around 1200 RPM high / 800 RPM low; use with 1/4", 5/16" steel.
