Trumpf - TruTool PN 160 Cordless Profile Nibbler with extension is well-suited to processing profile sheets up to 2.25" in depth. This tool cuts deeper corrugated & profile sheets, and C-L-U beams up to 18 gauge (1.6 mm) without distortion. There is no need for tools to change the cutting direction. Rotating punch allows change of cutting direction on the spot. Compact and light-weight design is perfect for cutouts and notches. Punch and die are easily replaceable, without the need for additional tools. Nibbler cuts best when used in conjunction with medium weight clear oil, lithium spray or wax lubricant. Users almost double the life of punch and die, compared to dry cutting. Nibbler works without feed force, distortion, emissions, or sparks. For optimum performance on curves, N 160 can be rotated in 8 steps of 45° without tools. Rotating punch reduces wear by ensuring it wears down evenly.
This compact and light-weight nibbler has a soft grip to dampen vibration, and reduce hand fatigue. 12 volt Li-ion rechargeable batteries are compatible with all current TRUMPF 12 volt cordless tools. PN 160 nibbler weighs only 3.5 pounds. You can use the speed controller to adjust working speed for individual cutting task. It is extremely efficient if you have predefined cutting lines or a template. PN 160 is also ideal for metal sheets between 0.5 - 1 mm. Make tight curves with its 2.4 mm minimum radius.
